Wilfred Owens' poetry in war can be described as a passionate appearance of Owen's outrage above the horrors of war and pity pertaining to the youthful soldiers sacrificed in that. His beautifully constructed wording is dramatic and memorable, whether describing shame and sorrow, just like in 'The Last Laugh', or his description with the unseen psychological consequences of war detailed in 'The Next War' and 'Anthem for Doomed Youth'.
